SMS/Text Messaging

RecipeSpinoff uses SMS text messages for account verification purposes only. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive the following types of text messages from RecipeSpinoff:

• Verification Codes: One-time 6-digit codes to verify your identity when logging into the mobile app or creating an account

How you opt in: You consent to receive SMS messages when you provide your phone number on the RecipeSpinoff mobile app login screen or during account registration. Consent disclosure text is displayed directly above the "Send Verification Code" button and reads: "By continuing, you consent to receive one-time SMS verification codes from RecipeSpinoff. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. View our Privacy Policy & Terms." By tapping "Send Verification Code," the user provides consent.

Message frequency: Messages are transactional only — you will only receive an SMS when you request a verification code. No marketing, promotional, or recurring messages are sent.

Opt-out: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from RecipeSpinoff. You will receive a confirmation message and no further texts will be sent. To re-subscribe, reply START.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply to all SMS messages sent and received. RecipeSpinoff is not responsible for any charges from your carrier.

Carriers supported: Messages are sent via Twilio and are compatible with all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others.

No sharing: We do not share your phone number or SMS opt-in consent with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
